The terms on which you use Metafora, in plain words.

  1. Who we are

    Metafora is run by Metafora Intelligence Oy (Business ID 3620385-4), a company in Helsinki, Finland. These terms are between the company and the person or firm using Metafora.

  2. The service

    Metafora interviews the people you send a link to, each alone, and writes what they said into one page for you. The interviewer is an AI, and it says so.

  3. Your account

    An account is for one person. You are responsible for your sign-in and for who you send a Metafora to. Answering a Metafora needs no account.

  4. What is whose

    Your Metafora and your files are yours. What a person approves as their answer is theirs to have said. We keep only what the privacy notice says we keep.

  5. Using it well

    Send it to people who can expect to hear from you. Do not use Metafora for anything unlawful, deceptive or abusive, and do not probe or try to break the service.

  6. What the page is

    The page is written by AI from what people said, and it can be wrong or incomplete. Check it before you rely on it or pass it on.

  7. Plans and payment

    You can start free. A plan, and its price, are shown in the app before you pay. Card payments go through Stripe. You can cancel at any time, and the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.

  8. Availability and liability

    Metafora is provided as it stands; we work to keep it running but cannot promise it never breaks. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

  9. Ending

    You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings → Your data. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. What people approved as their answers stays theirs, as the privacy notice describes.

  10. Changes and law

    We will tell you about material changes. Finnish law applies, and disputes go to the Helsinki District Court (Helsingin käräjäoikeus), unless a consumer’s mandatory rights say otherwise. Questions: joonatan@metafora.chat.
